Waited for drive thru personal to finish using her cell phone while I waited at the Window to place my order.. In clear sight as if I needed to wait for her to finish facebooking before she placed my order with the cooks.. very unprofessional. .. other than that it's always a quick fix for food on the hurried nights..

DeleteI go to order extra tarter sauce and the girl says " we just got a text saying we can't sell extra tarter sauce" Hey boat n net people. Heads up the only thing that keeps your business open is the tarter sauce. I remember when it was free now it's 0.19 cents and you still can't make enough???

ReplyDeleteOn February 12th 2016 I went to boat n net on Leopard Street zip code 78410 I ordered a large amount of food approximately 5 meals usually they serve the meals in large boxes with two rows and a large amount of french fries well since it was the first Friday of Lent I was given small boxes four or five meals the meals usually come with two dinner rolls and a large amount of french fries during this visit I was given small boxes 1 dinner roll in each box and a very small amount of French fries I believe we should have gotten the same amount of food as ordered any of the day or time of the year. Now, Mr Woo Sung Lee owner of boat n net should be prepared for this time of year being an owner of this restaurant for several years it is unfair that customers expecting more than what they received is less than what they expected I know it's all about the money and that's not right and I know this comment is not going to make a difference but I'm just stating my point of view and hope you will stop being this stingy with your food during this time of year of Lent
ReplyDeleteI came an ordered food tonight an was told i couldnt pay for extra rolls i ordered 15 shrimp an 15 fish an it was gonna cost me 25 bucks for 25 tatar sauces or 2 something for a cup of it wow i will never comeback here again thank u boat n net

DeletePlace is crap, avoid Greenwood location at all costs ordered a 6 piece fish, way overcooked like hockey pucks, fries were old enough to vote. I called them they took my name and lady apologized and said the new person did it and would replace it. I went in today and said the paper I have them with the order was not a receipt. Chola with the attractive neck tattoo got all ghetto with me. I told them they should have my name. She said I don't see anything. So before I lost my crap, I left. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

ReplyDeleteIt may suck that their prices went up but the shrimp and fish pieces did get larger at the Kostoryz location. The shrimp is no longer pounded out to 1/16th of an inch. I was looking for the number to complain about only getting one tartar sauce with a six piece dinner. I asked the lady how many it came with and she said two. I started reading these reviews when the line was busy.

ReplyDeleteThe boat n net in kingsville has really gone downhill it suxs to be exact the shrimp fries were over cooked to where they were rock hard they really need to correct the problem fire the whole crew n rebuild this location if u dont knkwv how to cook keep ur ass out the kitchen people i mean seriously it used to be awesome food now it suxs theydont change the grease cuz it turns the shrimp brown i want my money back this restraunt donteven deserve one star someone needsto restore it to it former it used to be awesome used tobe i want to open my own

I'm glad it has not changed at all.
It reminds me of being a kid playing in the parking lot waiting for our food.
At the Kostoryz location in Corpus Christ, TX. I don't think you could call this a review didn't get to eat. got there at 835 pm, 3 cars in front of me-one at the window, the 2nd waiting, the 3rd at the order box .2 customers at the walk up Window. Looks like there are 3-4 employees working finally got to the order box at 855pm only to be told that they are not taking anymore orders because they are closing, I could hear and see her laughing with the co-workers about what she just said .I set on this website that they close at 930, but all of the signs at the location say close at 10pm. I can say I will never even attempt to eat here again. I forgot to mention there were 2 cars in line behind me

ReplyDeleteLove this place!! I've been going there since I was a kid. I wish I could get this in Austin! or maybe bottle it and let everyone able to buy BOAT AND NET tartar sauce to bring home. I have to buy 20 everytime I go home on vacation. I use it on everything to burgers and fries, can you please let us buy your food frozen so we can cook at home! Its so good!!

ReplyDeleteYes tried making a phone order so I wouldn't have to wait n they told me they don't make phone orders I go to this boat n net every week love my chicken but the people that answer are very rude don't know how to answer the phone always drops chicken on the floor n they put it back in the box the workers u have working there are very dirty wouldn't doubt if they even clean the place WHERE CAN I GET FRESH GOOD CHICKEN FROM BOAT N NET every customer has to wait for 30-45 minutes for fresh food n it's never fresh always cold ass fries need new workers on kostoryz wish the one on greenwood would open that one was my favorite
